How much do I pay for the calls to the desired access point?

You will be charged by your phone company for calls to the access point for “ON THE GO” service from either landline or cell phone.

If the access point has the area code of “949”, the default fee applies.

A landline call to an area code other than that of the access point is considered a long distance call. The price is dependent upon your phone company's calling rates.

When using a cell phone to call the access point, the price will be fixed regardless of the area. Again, the price is dependent upon on your phone company's calling rates.

The rate to the access point from either landline or cellphone is basically a metered rate—charged by unit of time.

For example, if you use a plan saying “10 cents per 30 seconds” and talk 3 minutes, it will be 60 cents (6 units times 3 minutes).

The charge starts at the moment you connect to the access point.

What is the rate and consumed points if I call with my cellphone to another cellphone?

To call a cellphone from another cell phone, it usually takes the basic rate to call “949” area and 2 PHYTTER points.

※We do not know the rates to call “949” area code from your area, so please ask your cellphone company.

To call a cellphone from to a landline, it usually takes the basic rate to call “949” area and 2 PHYTTER points.

When calling the Access Point, I see a message that says “You must sign up for PHYTTER in order to use PHYTTER world call. Please visit our website for more details. Thank you.”

It could be either

--Dialing from other than registered phone number.

--Using Caller ID Blocking Service if you use registered phone number.

Please verify your settings.

My phone bill doubled in amount. Why?

The information may be obtained from your phone company.

Please note that you are in charge of calls to the access point (949-250-5200) when using “ON THE GO.” It will be charged from your phone company at the regular rate.

Can I use “ON THE GO” service in areas outside Japan, and Taiwan?

You cannot use ON THE GO service outside , Japan and Taiwan, where the access points are. Thank you for your understanding.

The call is disconnected after the message “Please wait one moment.”

Please verify that the phone number you dialed is correct.

An unrecognized number is displayed on the phone of the person I called.

If you have CALL ME number purchased, this number is displayed as your Caller ID.

If you do not have a CALL ME number, you have no Caller ID. Thus the person you called sees a random, unknown or anonymous number.

How do I make calls?

Can I call emergency numbers?

You cannot make emergency calls such as 911 from PHYTTER. For your safety, please make sure to have a communication tool other than PHYTTER for emergency calls.

Is there any country or carrier that PHYTTER cannot connect to?

The places not shown in the rate table are inaccessible from PHYTTER. You may also be unable to connect to other phones depending on the system used by the person you are trying to reach.
